Child Safety Standards

Last updated: April 29, 2026

1. About These Standards

These Child Safety Standards (the “Standards”) are published by The Transfer Portal, a mobile dating application operated by Crafton Apps LLC (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”). The Transfer Portal is distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store under the name “The Transfer Portal”.

These Standards explain how The Transfer Portal addresses child safety, including our absolute prohibition of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to every user of The Transfer Portal and to all content, communications, and activity on the service.

2. Our Commitment to Child Safety

The Transfer Portal is built exclusively for adults aged 18 and older who are seeking meaningful adult relationships. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward any content, behavior, or activity that endangers children. Protecting minors from sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, and any related harm is a non-negotiable requirement of using our service.

We treat child safety as a foundational obligation of operating a social platform. We design our product, our policies, and our enforcement processes to prevent CSAE and to act decisively when we detect or receive reports of it.

3. Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

The Transfer Portal strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in all forms. The following content, behavior, and activity is absolutely forbidden on our service and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the relevant authorities:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — any image, video, audio, text, drawing, computer-generated imagery (including AI-generated content), or other material that sexually exploits or sexually abuses a minor, or that depicts a minor in a sexualized manner.
  • Grooming — any communication, behavior, or attempt by an adult to befriend, manipulate, or coerce a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation.
  • Sexual solicitation of minors — any request, offer, or arrangement to meet, communicate with, or obtain sexual content from a person under 18.
  • Sextortion — threatening or extorting a minor (or anyone) using sexual content or the threat of sharing it.
  • Trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation— any content or activity that facilitates the trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation of a minor.
  • Promotion or normalization of CSAE — any content that endorses, glorifies, jokes about, or attempts to normalize the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.
  • Linking to CSAE — sharing links, profiles, handles, or other references that direct users to CSAE on The Transfer Portal or anywhere else.

This prohibition applies to user profiles, photos, videos, voice notes, private messages, group communications, usernames, bios, and any other content surface on The Transfer Portal. There are no exceptions.

4. Age Restriction (18+)

The Transfer Portal is restricted to users who are at least 18 years old. The app is rated 17+ on the Apple App Store and Mature 17+ on the Google Play Store, but our minimum user age is 18. The Transfer Portal is not directed to children, is not designed for children, and contains no features intended for children.

During registration, every user must:

  • Confirm they are 18 years of age or older;
  • Provide a date of birth, which we use to enforce the 18+ minimum;
  • Agree to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which reaffirm the 18+ requirement and prohibit CSAE.

If we determine, or have reason to believe, that an account belongs to a person under 18, we terminate the account, delete the underlying data, and (where applicable) report the activity to authorities. If you believe a minor has created an account on The Transfer Portal, please report it immediately using the contact information in Section 11.

5. Prevention and Detection

We use a combination of policy, product design, and technical controls to prevent CSAE on The Transfer Portal:

  • Age gating at signup with date-of-birth collection and self-attestation, plus account termination of any user determined to be underage.
  • Photo review processes that screen profile photos against our Community Guidelines, including prohibitions on minors in photos and on sexually explicit content.
  • Pre-publication and ongoing content moderationinformed by user reports and automated signals.
  • Hash-matching against known CSAM hash sets(including industry-standard sources) where photos are stored, so that known CSAM is detected and removed.
  • Anti-grooming and anti-solicitation signals in our messaging surfaces, with elevated review for messages that match patterns associated with CSAE.
  • Block, mute, and report tools available to every user on every profile and in every conversation.
  • Restrictions on user-generated content that prohibit nudity, sexual content, depictions of minors, and content sexualizing minors.

6. In-App Reporting Mechanism

The Transfer Portal provides users with multiple ways to report CSAE and other child-safety concerns:

  • Report a profile — every user profile in The Transfer Portal includes a “Report” option, with reporting categories that include child safety, sexual content involving minors, and grooming.
  • Report a message or conversation — every chat in The Transfer Portal includes a “Report” option, with the same set of child-safety categories.
  • Block — any user can block another user immediately, which removes the connection and prevents further contact.
  • Email reporting — reports can also be sent to childsafety@thetransferportalapp.com or support@thetransferportalapp.com.

Reports related to child safety are prioritized for review. Where appropriate, we preserve evidence as required by law, remove the offending content, terminate the offending account, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or other applicable authorities.

You do not need to be a registered user of The Transfer Portal to report child-safety concerns to us — anyone may use the email addresses above.

7. Enforcement and Account Actions

Violation of these Standards results in immediate enforcement, which may include:

  • Removal of the offending content;
  • Permanent termination of the user’s account and any associated accounts;
  • Preservation of records as required by applicable law for the purpose of reporting to authorities;
  • Reports to NCMEC’s CyberTipline and to law enforcement, where required or appropriate;
  • Cooperation with valid legal process from law enforcement and regulators.

9. Cooperation with NCMEC and Law Enforcement

The Transfer Portal cooperates with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and with law-enforcement agencies in the investigation of CSAE. We respond to valid legal process, preserve records when required, and submit CyberTipline reports for apparent CSAM as required by U.S. law.

Members of the public can submit reports about online child sexual exploitation directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or by phone at 1-800-843-5678 (United States).

10. Compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards

The Transfer Portal complies with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards Policy for Social and Dating apps. Specifically, we:

  • Publish these Standards, which explicitly prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE);
  • Provide an in-app mechanism for users to report CSAE and other child-safety concerns;
  • Designate a Child Safety Point of Contact (Section 11) for communications regarding CSAE;
  • Comply with applicable child-safety laws, including mandatory CSAM reporting to NCMEC under U.S. law.

More information about Google Play’s requirements is available in their Child Safety Standards Policy.

11. Child Safety Point of Contact

The Transfer Portal has designated the following point of contact for communications regarding child safety, CSAE reports, NCMEC matters, and law-enforcement requests:
