Your profile is your first impression on The Transfer Portal. We review every profile to ensure our community stays safe, authentic, and respectful. These guidelines explain what we look for and what may cause a profile to be rejected.
1. Photo Guidelines
Photos are the most important part of your profile. We want every member to feel confident that the people they see are real and accurately represented.
Requirements
At least one photo must clearly show your face
Photos must be of you — not someone else, a celebrity, or a fictional character
Photos should be recent and accurately represent how you look today
We May Reject Photos That:
Contain nudity or sexually explicit content
Show children's faces (to protect their privacy and safety)
Include graphic violence, weapons, or illegal substances
Are heavily filtered or edited to the point of misrepresentation
Are blurry, unrecognizable, or do not contain a person
Contain contact information (phone numbers, social media handles, email addresses, URLs)
Include business logos, advertisements, or promotional material
Display copyrighted or trademarked material without authorization
Are screenshots of other dating profiles or social media posts
2. Bio & Prompt Guidelines
Your bio and prompt responses let potential matches get to know the real you. Keep your content genuine, respectful, and focused on making a meaningful connection.
We May Reject Profiles That Contain:
Abusive, profane, vulgar, or racist language of any kind
Direct contact information, including email addresses, URLs, instant messenger IDs, phone numbers, or physical addresses
Overt solicitation for sex or descriptions of sexual activity
Solicitation of multiple or additional partners
References to illegal activities or drug use
Business, political, or religious advertisements or solicitations
Hate speech or discriminatory language targeting any group
Threatening, intimidating, or violent language
Insufficient or illegible content
3. Prohibited Content
The Transfer Portal does not accept profiles or content from the following:
Individuals under the age of 18
Fake or impersonation accounts
Users with multiple accounts
Content that exploits or solicits personal information from individuals under the age of 18
Profiles containing any prohibited content will be immediately rejected and may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
4. Profile Review Process
Every profile update is reviewed before it becomes visible to other members. Here's how it works:
Pending Review
When you submit a new profile or update your existing one, it enters a pending review status. During this time, your previous profile (if you have one) remains visible while we review your changes. Reviews typically take a few hours but may occasionally take longer.
Profile Approved
Once your profile is approved, your updated content becomes visible to other members. We review every section including your photos, name, bio, and prompt responses.
Profile Rejected
If your profile doesn't meet our guidelines, it won't be approved or displayed. We'll notify you with the reason so you can make changes and resubmit. In most cases, your previously approved profile will remain visible until you submit a compliant update.
5. Tips for a Great Profile
Want to make a strong impression? Here are some tips for creating a profile that stands out:
Photos
Lead with a clear, well-lit headshot that shows your smile
Include a mix of photos — close-up, full-body, and action shots doing something you enjoy
Show your personality — hobbies, travel, pets, and everyday moments all work great
Avoid group photos where it's hard to tell which person is you
Skip the sunglasses and hats in your main photo so matches can see your face
Bio & Prompts
Be specific about your interests and what makes you unique
Mention what you're looking for in a partner
Show your sense of humor — a genuine, lighthearted tone goes a long way
Keep it positive — focus on what you want, not what you don't
Proofread for typos — it shows you care about first impressions
