Getting Started
After signing up, you'll be guided through our onboarding flow. You'll add your basic info (name, age, location), upload 6-9 photos, answer 3-5 profile prompts, and complete the emotional readiness quiz. Take your time - a complete profile gets significantly more matches.
Our exclusive 12-question assessment helps us understand where you are in your healing journey. Your readiness score (0-100) is used to match you with others at a similar emotional stage. Don't worry - your exact score is never shown to other users, only a general compatibility indicator.
If your readiness score suggests you might benefit from a gentler approach to dating, we'll offer Soft Start Mode. This limits you to 5 matches per day to prevent overwhelm. You can enable or disable this anytime in Settings.
You need a minimum of 6 photos and can upload up to 9. We recommend a mix of clear face photos, full-body shots, and photos showing your personality and interests. Profiles with more photos get more matches.
We offer two types of verification: Photo Verification (take a selfie matching a specific pose) and ID Verification (upload a government ID). Verified users get a badge on their profile and receive up to 3x more matches.
Matching & Swiping
Swipe right on profiles you're interested in, left to pass. When two people swipe right on each other, it's a match! You can then start messaging. Our algorithm considers your preferences, location, emotional readiness, and compatibility factors.
Free users get 5 swipes per day, which reset at midnight in your timezone. Premium users get unlimited swipes.
A Super Swipe lets the other person know you're especially interested. They'll see that you Super Swiped them, making you stand out. Premium users get unlimited Super Swipes.
Yes, matches expire after 24 hours if neither person sends a message. You'll get a reminder notification at the 23-hour mark. Premium users can extend matches to prevent expiration.
Accidentally swiped left on someone you liked? Rewind lets you undo your last swipe and see their profile again. This is a Premium feature.
This could happen if: you've swiped through everyone in your area, your discovery preferences are too narrow, or your profile visibility is paused. Try expanding your distance or age range in Settings, or use Explore Mode to discover singles in nearby cities.
Explore Mode
Explore Mode helps you find matches beyond your local area. When you've seen everyone nearby, you can expand your search radius or browse singles in specific nearby cities.
Free users can expand up to 50 miles from their location. Premium users can expand up to 150 miles. You can increase your radius incrementally by 25 miles at a time.
Free users can activate Explore Mode once per month. Premium users have unlimited Explore Mode activations.
Instead of just expanding your radius, you can browse specific nearby cities. See profiles of singles in cities like Austin, Dallas, or Phoenix and connect with people in places you might visit or relocate to.
Chat & Communication
You can only message people you've matched with. Go to your Matches tab, tap on a match, and start typing. Be genuine and reference something from their profile for best results!
Yes! You can send photos from your gallery and record voice messages up to 2 minutes long. You can also share GIFs using our built-in Giphy integration.
Our AI-powered Date Planner suggests personalized date ideas based on both of your profiles, interests, and preferences. It considers things like location, budget, and activity preferences to help you plan the perfect date.
Profile & Discovery
Go to your Profile tab and tap 'Edit Profile.' You can update your photos, prompts, bio, and all your personal details. Changes are saved automatically.
Discovery preferences control who you see and who sees you. You can set your preferred age range, maximum distance, gender preferences, and whether matches must have verified photos.
Yes! In Settings > Privacy, you can choose to hide your age and/or distance from other users. They'll still be used for matching, just not displayed.
Incognito Mode (Premium feature) lets you browse profiles without appearing in others' profile views. Only people you've liked will be able to see you.
Go to Settings > Profile Visibility and select 'Paused.' Your profile won't appear in discovery while paused, but your existing matches and conversations remain. You can unpause anytime.
Safety & Privacy
On their profile or in your chat, tap the three dots menu and select 'Block.' Blocked users can't see your profile, message you, or appear in your feed. You can unblock users in Settings > Blocked Users.
Tap the three dots menu on their profile or in chat, then select 'Report.' Choose the reason and provide any additional details. Our team reviews all reports and takes action against policy violations.
Our safety team reviews reports within 24-48 hours. If the user violated our guidelines, we may warn, restrict, or ban them. We don't reveal who reported them. Severe violations result in immediate account suspension.
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your messages are private between you and your matches. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Always meet in public places for first dates. Tell a friend where you're going. Trust your instincts - if something feels off, it probably is. Never share financial information. Report any suspicious behavior.
Account & Settings
Go to Settings > Account to update your email or phone number. You'll need to verify the new contact method before the change takes effect.
Go to Settings > Notifications to customize which alerts you receive. You can control notifications for matches, messages, likes, and more individually.
Go to Settings > Delete Account. You'll need to type 'DELETE' to confirm. This permanently removes your profile, photos, matches, messages, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
All your personal data is deleted from our active systems, including your profile, photos, matches, and messages. Some data may be retained briefly for safety and legal compliance, then permanently deleted.
Yes! After your account is deleted, you can use the same email to create a new account. However, none of your previous data, matches, or conversations can be recovered.
